ELECTRIX AI Copilot: Now with the combined knowledge of our support team

Answering common WSCAD support questions directly inside the application

ELECTRIX AI Copilot answers software-related questions directly within the application. What is new is that the knowledge of our support team is now systematically integrated into the knowledge base. The 100 most common questions from real customer conversations have already been included. Every week, another 20 questions and answers are added based on current WSCAD support requests and feedback from daily engineering practice.

As a result, ELECTRIX AI Copilot delivers not only fast answers, but also more precise and practical solutions to typical questions in electrical engineering design.

What ELECTRIX AI Copilot supports

Answering questions, explaining functions and identifying sources of errors: AI Copilot supports users exactly where time is often lost during day-to-day engineering work. Users particularly benefit from the expanded knowledge base when dealing with common software-related questions such as:

  • Why are my symbols no longer connecting when placing them?
  • How do I display a cable across multiple pages?
  • Why are all colours displayed in black in my project?
  • How do I correctly rename a project?

The screenshot shows how such a response looks in practice. In this example, AI Copilot explains step by step how to translate projects in ELECTRIX AI. The answers are structured, directly applicable and immediately available within the application.

Many questions that previously required a support ticket or a phone call can now be resolved within seconds.

Why this matters

53.9% of electrical engineers say they lack sufficient time for genuine innovation work in their daily routine. This is one of the findings of our current study “The Future of Electrical Engineering Design”.

A significant amount of this lost time is caused by recurring software questions: searching through help files, waiting for support responses or asking colleagues for assistance. AI Copilot significantly reduces this effort and delivers answers directly within the working context.

Continuously expanding knowledge base

The knowledge base grows every week with 20 new questions and answers. The content is curated by the support team and based on real customer enquiries. This allows AI Copilot to continuously improve and adapt directly to practical engineering requirements.

How to use AI Copilot

Start ELECTRIX AI Copilot via View | Additional Windows. Simply enter your question in free text, just as you would ask a colleague. AI Copilot helps explain functions, locate settings, execute actions and answer general software-related questions, all within a single window. Responses are automatically generated in the language of your input, whether you ask in German, English or another language.
