WSCAD ELECTRIX AI Webinar: World Premiere of the AI Co-pilot

This goal is achieved through the presentation of the WSCAD AI Copilot, which is described as a world premiere in the electrical CAD industry. The WSCAD AI Co-pilot is essentially a chat interface. This interface is powered by a powerful Artificial Intelligence that interacts directly with the software on the user’s behalf. Users “simply write what they need and the AI copilot executes it”, which is highlighted as the most intuitive and fastest method.

- For Beginners: The new function redefines the definition of user friendliness and eliminates the need to learn numerous user interfaces or windows. The Co-pilot is designed to understand and answer vaguely formulated questions, even if beginners are unfamiliar with the exact terminology. Functionalities and Use Cases of the AI:
WSCAD identified four main categories where the AI provides the greatest added value:
- Explaining software functions: The AI can answer questions regarding the software settings and functionality (e.g., explaining that the grid can be toggled using the menu or the F7 key shortcut).
- Providing information and technical questions: It provides comprehensive answers to general technical questions (e.g., recommending a wire cross-section of 10 mm² for copper wires at 64 amps) and project-specific inquiries.
- Troubleshooting and analysis of projects.
- Executing complex commands directly in the software, supporting more efficient work.
The Co-pilot is accessible via a semi-transparent button located on the bottom right of the software interface, ensuring it doesn’t disturb the user when not in use.
